Senior Brokerage National Sales Manager
Utilized by senior management as the firm’s ‘turnaround expert’ within the marketing and sales function. 
  • Managed 325 Insurance Brokers and Agents, three Regional Marketing Vice Presidents and four support staff 
  • Led a team of four Telecommunication Specialists and coordinated both product and sales goals for more than 3,000 agents in a seven-state area. 
  • Reversed a financial decline for a four-state regional office that had lost $8 million in monthly revenues (from $12 million to $4 million).  Increased regional sales from a low of $4 million to $9 million monthly, while personally closing a $12 million tax sheltered annuity deal with the New Orleans Independent School District.
  • Revitalized the sales function of a two-state region where revenues had slumped from $4.5 million to only $400,000 monthly, and increased sales by $2.7 million monthly, within one-year.

Field Underwriter
Launched a small business/corporate groups program targeting university officials and city governments. 
  • Wrote financial needs analysis plans for field underwriters, which were presented to 300+ high net-worth prospects.
  • Established a $10 million deferred compensation plan with Troy State University and became the company’s top producer nationwide among an estimated 300 other first-year Field Underwriters.
  • Established a marketing initiative to contact/close new medical insurance plans for small business, becoming the largest producer of small business medical plans among all 25 other regional offices across the country.
